On Rare Books | Scholarships & Fellowships

Rare Books and GLAM are connected - a lot of historical material is housed in a variety of institutions and spaces across Galleries, Libraries, Archives, and Museums, preserved for today, and posterity. They are markers of cultural heritage, history, and key to research.

If you're interested in building knowledge and skills in Rare Books as a librarian, archivist, or for other reasons, the Rare Book School is a great resource.

In addition, they have a variety of scholarships and fellowships, with some applications due soon.

There are:

• Thirteen (13) Scholarship opportunities with the RBS with applications due by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, 1 November 2026
• Three (3) Fellowships with due dates from November 2026 to March 2027
• And a number of other Scholarship opportunities external to the RBS
