Knightshayes requires a creative exhibition designer to work with us to develop an immersive and permanent exhibition. Focussed on the domestic work of architects William Burges and JD Crace and on the Gothic Revival, this display will excite, inform and educate visitors about the architecture of Knightshayes.
Located in the Drawing Room, the exhibition will be founded on an exciting new collection of the highest quality, acquired in the past few months, as well as material from the existing core collection of objects.
- The exhibition brief is available to download here. https://culturejobs.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/Knightshayes-Design-Brief-Oct-26.pdf
- Initial site visits with core project team available afternoons of 27/28th October. Book a time via email: jamie.jones@nationaltrust.org.uk
- Designers should submit a brief expression of interest by 8 November. This should include 2/3 examples of previous work that you feel is relevant, with a statement briefly outlining your interest in this project.
- From this, we will shortlist and invite designers to meet either online or at Knightshayes 16th November.*
- Appointment will be made shortly afterwards.
*A fee of £500 will be paid to invited designers for the development of their proposal.
